Website Care Terms & Service Information
Clear boundaries make ongoing work better.
This page explains general service information. A signed proposal, agreement, or statement of work controls the actual client engagement.

General information only
This page describes Alderspire’s current public service model. It is not a substitute for a signed proposal, agreement, or statement of work. The signed client documents govern scope, fees, timing, responsibilities, payment, cancellation, intellectual property, and other terms for actual work.
is monitoring and reporting only. Repairs, maintenance, backups, security management, active SEO work, accessibility certification, and website changes are not included. Monitoring capabilities and compatibility are confirmed before service begins, and no monitoring system detects every problem.
Month-to-month website care
Care plans are currently offered month-to-month unless the signed agreement says otherwise. Ending a care plan does not transfer ownership of a client’s website to Alderspire or cause the client’s website to be intentionally removed. Clients remain responsible for third-party hosting, domain, software, and service fees unless a written agreement says otherwise.
Included update time
Included routine update time is available during the applicable service month and does not roll over indefinitely. It is not unlimited development. Large new pages, custom functionality, ecommerce, major redesigns, extensive copywriting, unlimited revisions, paid advertising, backlink campaigns, and other out-of-scope work require separate approval and pricing.
Existing websites and takeover work
The starting takeover fee covers an agreed review and baseline, not unlimited correction of pre-existing issues. Malware, broken functionality, extensive outdated software, licensing problems, access problems, or substantial remediation may require a separate quote. Alderspire may decline care for an unsafe, unsupported, inaccessible, or otherwise unsuitable setup.
Platforms and third parties
Care-plan features vary by platform. WordPress-specific tasks apply only to WordPress websites. Third-party platforms, hosts, plugins, themes, search engines, and social or business-profile services can change their systems, policies, availability, and pricing without Alderspire’s control.
One-time updates
One-Time Website Updates are billed at $65/hour with a one-hour minimum. Larger or unusually complex requests may be quoted as projects.
Search visibility and profile work
Local SEO Foundation is a one-time service for up to five priority pages, with final scope based on the existing site. It does not include ongoing monthly SEO, indefinite rank tracking, backlink or large citation campaigns, major ongoing content, unlimited copywriting, large-scale city-page creation, or paid ads. Significant content creation or technical remediation is quoted separately. SEO, search monitoring, and Google Business Profile work do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, or map placement.
Google Business Profile pricing is for Alderspire’s professional setup or optimization work; Google does not charge to create the profile itself. Suspensions, reinstatement or ownership disputes, and exceptional verification problems may require separate scope and quotation.
Ownership and access
Clients should own or control their domain, website, content, and primary business accounts whenever practical. Alderspire receives appropriate access to perform authorized work. Ownership and licensing of custom work, third-party assets, software, and deliverables are defined in the applicable written agreement.
Current public pricing
Public prices are starting points or standard monthly rates as labeled. Final project scope, third-party costs, taxes, payment schedule, and any special terms are confirmed in writing.
